3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 467MP provides outstanding adhesion to metal and high surface energy plastics. 200MP adhesive delivers excellent shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting. The tape is temporarily repositionable for placement accuracy. It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold temperatures. A PCK layflat liner helps prevent curling and buckling in the liner.

온도/내열성: 3M 고성능 아크릴 접착제 200MP는 최대 204℃의 온도에서 단시간(분, 시간) 동안 사용할 수 있으며, 최대 149℃의 온도에서 간헐적으로 장시간(일, 주) 사용할 수 있습니다.

Humidity Resistance - High humidity has a minimal effect adhesive performance. Bond strength shows no significant reduction after exposure for 7 days at 32℃ and 90% relative humidity.

UV Resistance - The adhesive is not adversly affected by outdoor exposure when covered by a nameplate or decorative trip part.

​

Water Resistance- Immersion in water has no appreciable effect on the bond strength . After 100 hours at room temperature, the high bond strength is maintained.

​

Temperature Cycling Resistance - High bond strength is maintained after cycling four times through:4 hours at 70℃.

4 hours at -29℃

4 hours at 22℃

Chemical Resistance - When properly applied, nameplate and decorative trim parts will hold securely after exposure to numerous chemicals including oil, mild acids and alkalis.

​

Temperature/Heat Resistance: 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP is usable for short periods (minutes, hours) at temperatures up to 204℃ and for intermittent longer periods (days, weeks) up to 149℃.

​

Lower Temperature Service Limit: The glass transition temperature for 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 200MP is -35℃. Many applications survive below this temperature (factors affecting successful applications include : materials being bonded, dwell at room temperature before cold exposure, and stress below the glas transition temperature [i.e. expansion/contraction stresses, impact]). Optimum conditions are : bonding high surface energy materials, longer time at room temperature before cold exposure, and little or no stress below the glass transition temperature. The lowest service temperature is -40℃.

라미네이션 중(1.5-20psi 권장) 및 최종 부품 설치 중(10-15psi) 접착제가 기판과 직접 접촉할 수 있도록 압력을 가해야 합니다.

이상적인 접착제 도포 온도 범위는 15.6°C에서 38°C입니다. 표면 온도가

10°C 미만인 경우 접착제가 너무 딱딱해져서 쉽게 접착되지 않으므로 도포하지 않는 것이 좋습니다. 권장 도포 온도에서 적절히 도포하면 일반적으로 저온 유지가 만족스럽습니다.

얇고 매끄럽고 유연한 재료를 매끄러운 표면에 접착할 때는 일반적으로 2mil의 3M™ 접착제 200MP를 사용하는 것이 좋습니다. 한쪽 또는 양쪽 표면에 질감이 보이면 5mil의 3M 접착제 200MP를 사용하는 것이 좋습니다.

For maximum bond strength (during installation of the final part) the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried.

Typical cleaning solvents are heptane (for oily surfaces) or isopropyl alcohol for plastics. Use reagent grade solvents

since common household materials like rubbing alcohol frequently contain oils to minimize the drying affect on skin and

can interfere with the performance of a pressure-sensitive adhesive.

*Note: Carefully read and follow the manufacturer’s precautions and directions for use when working with solvents.

These cleaning recommendations may not be in compliance with the rules of certain air quality management districts in

California; consult applicable rules before use.

It is necessary to provide pressure during lamination (1.5-20 psi recommended) and during final part installation (10-15

psi) to allow the adhesive to come into direct contact with the substrate. Using a hard edged plastic tool, which is the

full width of the laminated part, helps to provide the necessary pressure at the point of lamination. Heat can increase

bond strength when bonding to metal parts (generally this same increase is observed at room temperature over longer

times, weeks). For plastic parts, the bond strength is not enhanced with the addition of heat.

The ideal adhesive application temperature range is 60°F (15.6°C) to 100°F (38°C). Application is not recommended if

the surface temperature is below 50°F (10°C) because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. Once properly

applied, at the recommended application temperature, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory (please refer to

the Typical Performance Characteristics section).

When bonding a thin, smooth, flexible material to a smooth surface, it is generally acceptable to use 2 mils of 3M™

Adhesive 200MP. If a texture is visible on one or both surfaces, the 5 mil 3M adhesive 200MP would be suggested. If

both materials are rigid, it may be necessary to use a thicker adhesive to successfully bond the components. 3M™

VHB™ Acrylic Foam Tapes may be required.

To apply adhesives in a wide web format, lamination equipment is required to ensure acceptable quality.
